Some events in Arbois, Vignes et Villages - Pays de Louis Pasteur in 2011…
“La Percée du Vin Jaune” in Arbois
“La Percée du Vin Jaune” takes place on the first weekend in February.
It is organised in rotation by the villages that produce it and attracts many thousands of wine enthusiasts each year.
Introduced in 1997, “La Percée du Vin Jaune” is the work of all the winegrowers in Jura.
After six years in the vat, the new vintage of Vin Jaune is opened for tasting.
Le Grand Défi
France Bleu Besançon radio station (wavelength 102.8) created a new programme for summer 2011!
Le Grand Défi is a two-stage challenge:
*** In the morning, in the studio at Besançon, the contestants have to solve clues to find the name of the town they must go to in the afternoon;
*** In the afternoon, they have to take on challenges (all ludicrous, designed by the mischievous mind of Romain Parreaux) and look for clues that will lead them to the hidden ticket that will enable them to enter the draw for a fantastic holiday.
On 18th July, we were involved in this big challenge which Béatrice and Véronique, two charming sisters, had to face in Arbois. It consisted of 2 very intense hours in the sun but with a good atmosphere.
